Application & Selection
A call for fellowship applications will be made by the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) to all faculty members.
Applications must include:
- Complete and up-to-date CV;
- One- or two-page description of the planned sabbatical project and how the project aligns with the university’s strategies and plans; and
- One- to two-page statement of interest outlining how the planned sabbatical project will be enhanced by the Massey fellowship and how the applicant will maintain a presence at Massey (e.g. regular use of the office space at Massey College, participation in Massey programming, use of facilities).
Once chosen by the Selection Committee, final candidates must complete an interview with a representative from Massey College before they can be confirmed as Western Massey Fellows.
Selection Committee
Applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee comprised of:
- Provost and Vice-President (Academic)
- Vice-President (Research)
- Vice-Provost (Academic Planning, Policy & Faculty)
- Executive Director, Office of the Provost
