Budget Planning Process
The Provost serves as Chief Budget Officer which includes supporting budget development for faculties and support units and aligning planning and budget allocations to support strategic institutional priorities.
With support from the Office of Institutional Planning & Budgeting, the budget planning process typically begins in August and runs until the capital and operating budgets are approved by the Board of Governors in April. See Budget Planning Process timeline for more information.
