Lily Cho, Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President (International)
Lily Cho was appointed Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President (International) for a five-year term in July 2023.
Western International's mission is to direct and support the University's international strategy, while acting as a resource to faculties and departments across the Western community.
Prior to joining Western, Lily was the Associate Dean of Global & Community Engagement for the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University in Toronto. After joining York in 2010, she progressed through several academic administrative roles including Undergraduate Program Director and Chair of the Department of English, and Interim Associate Dean of Research & Graduate Studies. Prior to her time at York, Lily was a faculty member and vice-chair in Western’s Department of English and Writing Studies (2003-10). Before joining Western, and after earning her PhD from the University of Alberta, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Riverside.
